I'm in love with this assignment. After writing about New Brunswick's Lower River Passage, the Miramichi Region and the Acadian Peninsula, I'm totally sold on visiting the province. I'm also dying to meet my interview subjects, including Frank Scott, who has collected over 700 bottles of whisky.
If you live in the Toronto area, you can find the features in the Saturday Star's travel section. If not, check out the clipping below:
Great feature, congrats! Have you never been to the province? It's lovely (in the summer!)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Unfortunately I haven't been to New Brunswick--yet. Plans are in the works, though. Nova Scotia is pretty much my favourite destination in the world, so I have a hunch I'll feel similarly about NB.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely wonderful! I'm going on a road trip through the Atlantic provinces in July -- cooking my way across Canada -- and will absolutely visit this place now! Specially since I love whisky!
ReplyDeleteYou will have to visit camplbelltown and the "home" of your great great grandparents who lived at the top of candy Mt.
