I wasn’t expecting much from the hotel, which was being marketed with buzzwords like “eclectic” and “design-driven.” I’ve stayed in far too many boutique “art hotels” that all seem to follow the same blueprint: brass fixtures, exposed concrete and maybe an edgy neon sign or two.But all it took to change my mind was exiting the elevator on QT Wellington’s fourth floor.
